About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dentist to join our team. Under the guidance of the Dental Director, you will provide general dental services with a strong commitment to our core mission—delivering comprehensive care to low-income, uninsured, and medically underserved individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality general dental care and treatment to patients
Supervise and mentor dental hygienists, assistants, and other paraprofessionals
Refer patients to dental or medical specialists as needed
Assist in developing treatment protocols and quality assurance initiatives
Perform a variety of procedures, including root canal therapy, restorative (operative and fixed), and both simple and surgical extractions
Practice efficient, cost-effective dentistry while maintaining clinical excellence

Qualifications:

Required:

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Active California dental license
DEA license
CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
General practice residency or minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred

Preferred:

Bilingual in Spanish and English
Membership in the American Academy of General Dentistry
Strong interpersonal, training, and coaching skills
Commitment to cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity
Knowledge of best practices in community and general dentistry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of professional scope of practice and adherence to dental protocols
