
Dental Surgery Assistant

Whether you're an experienced assistant or new to the field, we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed in both clinical support and patient care.
In this role, you will work closely with oral surgeons, ensuring smooth procedures and delivering an exceptional patient experience. A current radiation safety certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist oral surgeons during a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures
Anticipate the needs of the provider and ensure all instruments and materials are prepared
Take and process digital X-rays
Accurately record and maintain patient treatment records
Take and document vital signs, including blood pressure
Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions as directed
Educate patients on oral hygiene and recovery care
Prepare treatment rooms and turn on necessary equipment prior to patient arrival
Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of all treatment areas
Restock supplies and alert supervisors to inventory or equipment issues
Comply with OSHA, state dental board regulations, and all company policies
Foster strong, positive relationships with patients and team members
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in your state
Current X-ray license (required)
CPR and ACLS certifications (required)
OMSA or DAANCE certification (preferred)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly encouraged
Willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed
Flexible availability, including potential weekends
