Hollywood Park Dental is seeking a friendly and organized Front Office Assistant to join our team. If you have dental front office experience and are passionate about patient care, this is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, fast-paced, and fun environment.

Hollywood Park Dental is a Heartland Dental supported office, proudly serving the Stone Oak/1604 area of San Antonio. Our 15-person team is committed to collaboration, growth, and delivering outstanding care to our community.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients and a vital part of our practice’s success. Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting and welcoming patients, creating a positive first impression
Managing phones, email, and office communication
Scheduling and confirming appointments using Dentrix
Filing insurance claims, verifying benefits, and explaining coverage
Posting insurance and patient payments, handling accounts receivable
Presenting treatment plans and financial options to patients
Collaborating with the clinical team to implement efficient systems and workflows

What We’re Looking For

Required:
Prior dental front office experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
HIPAA compliance and a strong sense of patient privacy

Preferred:

1+ year in dental or medical administration
Familiarity with insurance billing and accounts receivable
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for long periods and work at a computer
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally
Willingness to attend periodic training (virtual or in-person)
TB testing required prior to start (except in FL & TN)
