Dental Hygienist Monday or Tuesday

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team in promoting excellent oral health and delivering quality care to our patients. This role involves conducting initial patient assessments, performing dental cleanings, and providing education on oral hygiene and preventive care. You'll work closely with our dentists to assist in diagnosing and treating oral health issues and managing dental emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Make patients feel comfortable and welcome before their examination
Properly sterilize and prepare dental instruments
Perform oral health screenings and review dental histories
Detect oral conditions such as gingivitis, cavities, or periodontitis
Clean teeth, remove plaque, and apply protective treatments (e.g., fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper brushing and oral hygiene techniques
Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care
Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed
Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans, including for gum disease and oral cancer
Accurately document patient records and treatment notes
Monitor and manage dental supply inventory

Requirements & Skills:

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of dental health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
Skilled in handling and maintaining dental equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, patient-centered attitude
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
Associate degree or diploma in Dental Hygiene (Master’s preferred)
Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: \$60.00 – \$65.00 per hour
