Position Overview:

We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist who can interact with patients in a compassionate and informative manner. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient education. You will play a vital role in educating patients on current restorative and hygiene treatments, ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting

- Perform scaling and root planing procedures

- Administer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and local medications as needed

- Capture digital radiographs and intraoral photographs

- Maintain evidence-based practice standards

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options

Required Skills:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist

- Laser certification is a plus

- Proficiency in taking digital radiographs and intraoral photographs

- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient education

- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced office environment

Qualifications:

- Registered Dental Hygienist license in California (Required)

- American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers

- Ability to commute to San Diego, CA 92117 (Required)

- Willingness to relocate to San Diego if not already residing in the area

Schedule:

- Full-time position with an 8-hour shift

- Monday: 6:45 am - 4:00 pm

- Tuesday: 7:45 am - 5:00 pm

- Wednesday: 6:45 am - 4:00 pm

- Thursday: 7:45 am - 5:00 pm

- Friday: 7:45 am - 4:00 pm
