Key Responsibilities:  

- Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth.  

- Conduct comprehensive oral exams to detect signs of oral diseases, such as cavities and periodontal issues.  

- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in diagnosing dental conditions.  

- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to protect teeth from decay.  

- Assess periodontal health and perform treatments like scaling and root planing as necessary.  

- Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing the operatory, passing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort.  

- Adhere to infection control standards, including sterilizing instruments and following safety protocols.  

- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and details about treatments and progress.  

- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care and assist with treatment planning.  

- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices, technologies, and research.  

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, such as brushing, flossing, and nutritional advice.  

- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.  

- Listen attentively to patient concerns and provide compassionate, empathetic care.
