We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice in a full-time clinical and managerial role. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about patient care and interested in taking on leadership responsibilities within a growing practice.

As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare while supporting daily operations and team coordination. The ideal candidate has strong clinical expertise, a gentle chairside manner, and a commitment to promoting lifelong oral health.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Education

Review medical and dental histories and recommend care to improve overall oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and rinsing.
Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual needs.
Offer guidance on nutrition and its impact on oral health.
Clearly explain dental procedures and treatments, addressing patient questions and concerns.

Preventive Dental Services

Perform comprehensive screenings and assessments during routine checkups.
Provide professional dental cleanings and periodontal evaluations.
Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to help prevent decay.
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as directed by the dentist.
Develop and implement customized preventive care plans based on patient risk factors.

Records & Compliance

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and care plans.
Document examination findings and treatments provided.
Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols in accordance with industry standards.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care.
Support treatment planning and case presentation.
Assist with workflow coordination and contribute to overall practice efficiency.

Qualifications

Active and valid Registered Dental Hygienist license.
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
Proficient in digital radiographs and open to using the iTero digital scanner.
Invisalign/Clear Aligner experience is a plus but not required.
Strong knowledge of current dental hygiene practices and preventive care guidelines.
Experience with dental software and digital imaging systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high clinical standards.
