Compensation
We offer competitive hourly rates starting at \$60 per hour, plus bonus commission opportunities. Candidates with significant experience may qualify for higher compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive care to support long-term dental health.
Administer local anesthesia and apply dental sealants as needed.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) while following safety and quality guidelines.
Collaborate with dentists to assess oral health, identify potential issues, and assist in treatment planning.
Provide pre- and post-operative support for patients undergoing procedures, including home care instructions and follow-up coordination.
Monitor and document periodontal health, including periodontal charting and support in managing gum disease treatment plans.
Stay up to date on industry developments and best practices by participating in continuing education and professional training.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including procedures performed, treatment recommendations, and progress notes.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active state licensure to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Proven experience delivering comprehensive cleanings and preventive dental care.
Skilled in diagnostic and preventive procedures such as X-rays, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screenings.
Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
Strong commitment to patient care, with an emphasis on creating a positive and comfortable experience.
