Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates starting at \$65 per hour, with opportunities for bonus commissions. Higher compensation is available for candidates with significant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to effectively remove plaque and tartar.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive care to promote long-term dental health.
Administer local anesthesia and apply dental sealants as needed.
Capture and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety protocols.
Work closely with dentists to assess patients' oral health, identify issues, and contribute to treatment planning.
Provide pre- and post-operative care, including patient education on at-home recovery and follow-up appointment coordination.
Monitor and chart periodontal health, assisting in the development of treatment plans for managing gum disease.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies by attending continuing education courses.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting procedures, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active and valid Dental Hygienist license (RDH) for the state of practice.
Experience delivering comprehensive dental cleanings and preventive services.
Skilled in performing diagnostic and preventive procedures, including radiographs, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screenings.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with the dental team.
Strong commitment to patient care, with a focus on empathy and creating a comfortable clinical environment.
Eagerness to pursue ongoing education and stay informed on current best practices and technologies in dental hygiene.
