Dental Hygienist

Western Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist who is passionate about patient care and building lasting relationships. As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll help provide exceptional preventative dental services while educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene.

Position: Dental Hygienist
Location: Western Dental & Orthodontics

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing of restorations
Apply preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants
Maintain and update patient dental records accurately and securely, following HIPAA guidelines
Assist the dentist as needed, including administering local anesthesia (if permitted by state law)
Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices to promote long-term dental health

Qualifications:

Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Active and valid state license to practice
Current CPR/BLS certification
Excellent time management and communication skills
Ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with the dental team
Willingness to travel between locations is a plus, but not required
