Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, polishing restorations, and applying fluoride or sealants.
Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional habits for optimal oral health.
Update and maintain patient dental histories, treatment records, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Administer local anesthesia where allowed by state law.
Collaborate closely with the dentist and other team members to deliver seamless, high-quality care.

Qualifications:

Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Active state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Excellent time management and communication skills
Willingness to travel between nearby office locations (preferred but not required)
