Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures
Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans
Document baseline patient information accurately
Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
Provide exceptional patient care throughout visits
Take dental impressions
Communicate effectively with patients and team members
Maintain a team-first and patient-first mindset
Continuously develop your dentistry knowledge and skills
Adhere to all state, federal, and local compliance standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Familiarity with dental terminology
Ability to travel to different clinic locations as needed
Basic computer skills

Education & Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Dental Assisting course
Texas RDA license required after 1+ years of certification
CPR and/or BLS certification required

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
May require working over 40 hours per week
Clinical environment that may be noisy and busy
Potential exposure to infectious diseases and bloodborne pathogens
Handling sharp instruments and exposure to chemicals/gasses
Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers
Lifting objects up to 50 pounds and working in confined spaces
