Position Summary:  
We’re currently seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our caring and collaborative dental team. In this role, you’ll support patients both clinically and personally—helping deliver excellent care while living out our mission every day.

When scheduled as a provider, your focus will be on performing coronal polishing and placing dental sealants. Outside of provider-specific duties, you’ll work alongside the dental team to assist with day-to-day clinical support and patient care.

Expanded Duties Dental Assistant – Join Our Mission-Driven Team  
Location: Lawndale Christian Health Center  
Pay Range: $19.20 – $21.35 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)  

What You’ll Do:  
- Perform coronal polishing and place dental sealants as scheduled  
- Assist dentists chairside with a variety of dental procedures  
- Support sterilization, room setup, and overall clinic flow  
- Pitch in with general office and assistant tasks when not scheduled with a patient  
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and team members  

Qualifications:  
- High school diploma or equivalent  
- Certification to perform expanded duties (coronal polishing and sealants)  
- Experience working in a multi-cultural, team-based healthcare setting preferred  
- Strong alignment with the mission and values of Lawndale Christian Health Center  
- Excellent organizational and guest service skills  
- Ability to interact positively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
