Dental Assistant for pediatric office

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while delivering exceptional patient care. If you’re organized, friendly, and enjoy working with children, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure efficient, high-quality care
Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments while maintaining a clean, safe workspace
Take X-rays, impressions, and support dental exams as needed
Perform coronal polishing (certificate required)
Educate patients and families on oral health and proper hygiene habits
Help create a positive, comfortable experience for children during visits
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling

Requirements

2–4 years of dental assisting experience preferred

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification or associate degree preferred
Prior Dental Assistant experience (pediatric experience is a plus)
Radiology certification required
Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix experience is a plus)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Friendly, patient-focused, and comfortable working with children
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
Bilingual skills highly preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly pay: $21.00–$26.00 (based on experience)
