We are a friendly, patient-focused general dental office in Miramar seeking a hardworking and personable Dental Assistant to join our team! This is a cross-trained role, allowing you to assist both in the front office and back office throughout the day.

Whether you are an experienced Dental Assistant or a recent graduate of a Dental Assisting program with some dental knowledge, we are willing to provide training to help you succeed.

Pay range: $20–$32 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Front Office Duties

Check patients in and out
Schedule appointments and manage correspondence (phone calls, emails, etc.)
Verify insurance coverage and prepare estimates
Present treatment plans to patients
Submit dental claims, track payments, and review EOBs
Other administrative tasks as needed

Back Office Duties

Chairside assisting for all procedures
Take digital X-rays and perform coronal polishing
Sterilize instruments and set up/break down operatories
Take impressions, pour molds, and make temporary crowns/bridges
Assist with supply ordering and inventory management
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient office environment

Note: Don’t worry if you haven’t performed all of these tasks—we provide full training!

Qualifications

Prior dental office experience preferred; dental assisting program graduates with knowledge of dental terminology/procedures are encouraged to apply
Proficiency with dental software (Softdent preferred)
Understanding of ADA codes, PPO insurances, and HIPAA compliance
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and record-keeping skills
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks independently and support smooth workflow
