Job Description
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with patients to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
Dental Assistant – Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay: \$20.00 – \$23.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (Tuesday–Saturday) or Part-time
Work Location: In-person only
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients to the dental office
Prepare patients for exams or procedures, ensuring their comfort
Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures
Sterilize instruments according to safety protocols
Perform lab-related tasks as directed
Provide oral hygiene guidance and post-op care instructions
Keep treatment rooms clean and stocked
Assist with scheduling appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing and payments
Required Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with dental tools and sterilization techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer proficiency
Attention to detail and excellent organizational habits
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
High school diploma required; dental assistant training or certification preferred
Additional certifications (e.g., EFDA) are a plus
At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
