Dental Assistant

We are currently seeking a qualified, experienced, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered dental practice. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding care.

Dental Assistant – Full-Time
Location: In-Person
Pay: \$20.00 – \$25.00 per hour (Based on experience)

About the Role:

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the clinical and administrative aspects of patient care. You’ll assist during procedures, prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensure sterilization protocols are followed, and help educate patients about post-operative and oral health care. You’ll also contribute to administrative tasks like scheduling follow-ups and maintaining inventory of clinical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with safety standards
Assist the dentist chairside during procedures including x-rays, impressions, and suctioning
Take dental x-rays as directed and ensure accurate charting of patient information
Obtain and update patient records and medical history
Make patients feel welcome, informed, and comfortable throughout their visit
Provide post-operative and oral health instructions to patients
Order and organize clinical supplies
Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with front-office support as needed
Attend team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education courses
Perform other clinical and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Certified Dental Assistant (Required)
2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
CPR certification (Preferred)
Experience with dental practice management software (Preferred)
Strong computer and internet skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
Highly dependable and detail-oriented
