Position: Registered Dental Assistant (Part-time)

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.  

- Guide parents and patients through treatment processes, ensuring comfort and understanding.  

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide post-treatment instructions.  

- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.  

- Take and document x-rays (dependent on location).  

- Maintain operational readiness of hygiene bays and operatory rooms.  

- Prepare tray set-ups for procedures, mix dental materials (amalgam, cement, etc.), and sterilize equipment.  

- Assist dental professionals during procedures, including suctioning, holding retractors, and suture cutting.  

- Pour, trim, and polish impression casts, and fabricate custom trays.  

- Document patient treatment information accurately in their charts.  

- Ensure compliance with all regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:  

- High school diploma or GED required.  

- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.  

- X-ray certification preferred (according to state and practice requirements).  

- Nitrous certification preferred.  

- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (location dependent).
