Dental Assistant - chairside

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to become a key part of our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands-on dental assisting experience and a passion for delivering excellent patient care.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both our clinical and administrative operations. You’ll assist during patient exams and procedures, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and help ensure our patients have a positive experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and prepare patients for treatment
Gather medical history and patient information
Set up and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
Take dental x-rays and display images for the dentist
Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
Prepare materials for crowns, impressions, and other treatments
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Help with administrative tasks such as answering phones and updating records as needed
Monitor and replenish clinical supplies

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience required (3+ years preferred)
Dental Assistant certification from an accredited program (preferred)
X-ray certification (a plus)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, hygiene practices, and sterilization protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player
