Our office is currently seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team at Cortland Smiles, a locally owned dental practice dedicated to enhancing oral health in Chicago’s Bucktown community. Led by Dr. Ruchi Nagpal, DDS, we provide comprehensive preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dental services, including Invisalign and aesthetic/therapeutic Botox®.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, and possesses strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide gentle yet effective dental care. Experience with Dentrix Ascend, digital imaging/scanning, and nitrous oxide (N₂O) delivery is a plus, but not required.

Requirements & Responsibilities

Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Illinois
Current CPR/BLS certification
Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy regulations
Conduct oral health assessments and educate patients on proper hygiene practices
Assist in diagnosis through periodontal probing, charting, prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
Capture digital images and X-rays
Schedule and manage patient recall appointments
Maintain sterilization of instruments and adhere to infection control protocols
Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Compensation
$55.00 – $65.00 per hour (based on experience)
