Oral Surgery Assistant Needed for Premier St. James-Galleria Practice

We are seeking a skilled Oral Surgery Assistant to join our prestigious practice in the St. James-Galleria area. The ideal candidate will hold current RDA and CPR certifications, with DAANCE certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Arrive before the first patient to prepare for the day and participate in the morning huddle as per the office schedule

- Address patient concerns within the scope of the Oral Surgery Assistant’s license, while promoting the high standards of our specialist

- Ensure strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and Dental Board policies

- Maintain clinical supplies and equipment, ensuring both proper maintenance and fiscal responsibility

- Create and maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment, preparing patients for treatment and assisting the doctor to deliver efficient, high-quality dental care

- Review and update patient health histories and records

- Collaborate with front office and back office teams to ensure a smooth and efficient schedule for the doctor

Job Details:

- Type: Full-time

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (No weekends)

Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in dental assisting (Preferred)

- License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred); DAANCE certification (Preferred)
