Registered Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team and play a vital role in promoting excellent oral health and patient care. In this role, you will conduct initial patient screenings, perform teeth cleanings, and provide expert guidance on oral health and preventive care. Your expertise will support dentists in diagnosing dental issues and managing emergencies. We value reliability, the ability to build trust with patients of all ages, and a keen eye for detecting oral health conditions.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure patient comfort and ease before examinations

- Properly sterilize and maintain dental instruments

- Conduct initial oral screenings and review patients' oral health history

- Identify conditions such as gingivitis, cavities, or periodontitis

- Clean and protect patients' teeth by removing plaque and applying fluoride

- Educate patients on proper dental care techniques and practices

- Provide clear post-procedure care instructions

- Take X-rays and dental impressions as required

- Assist dentists in determining appropriate treatments for various dental conditions, including oral cancer

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Monitor and manage dental supplies effectively

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role

- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)

- Experience with dental equipment preparation and maintenance

- Excellent communication skills and a patient, friendly demeanor

- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina

- Diploma in Dental Hygiene; a Master’s degree is a plus

- Valid dental hygiene license

Compensation:

- Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
