Registered Dental Hygienist

We are a boutique dental office seeking a friendly and skilled Hygienist to join our team, starting with Fridays and Saturdays. Our focus is on exceptional patient care because our patients are at the heart of what we do. Preference will be given to candidates who speak Chinese, as this will help us better serve our diverse patient base.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), administer local anesthesia, take impressions, and apply whitening treatments.

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and manage plaque control programs.

- Screen for oral cancer and assist in encouraging patients to attend follow-up visits.

- Prepare the treatment room by following established procedures and protocols.

- Take and analyze dental x-rays.

- Document dental care services accurately in patient records and maintain clear clinical notes.

- Ensure patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information secure.

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Uphold infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
