Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team and play a key role in promoting excellent oral health practices and patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will conduct initial patient screenings, clean teeth, and provide guidance on oral health and preventative care. Your expertise will help dentists determine treatments for dental issues and manage dental emergencies. We value reliability, the ability to build trust with patients of all ages, and a keen eye for oral health conditions.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure patient comfort before examinations

- Properly sterilize dental instruments

- Conduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health history

- Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis

- Clean and protect patients' teeth (e.g., plaque removal, fluoride application)

- Educate patients on proper dental care and techniques

- Provide post-procedure care instructions

- Take X-rays and dental impressions

- Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various conditions, including oral cancer

- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charts

- Monitor and manage dental supplies

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role

- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)

- Experience with dental equipment preparation and maintenance

- Outstanding communication skills

- Patient, friendly demeanor

- Strong attention to detail

- Physical stamina to meet job demands

- Diploma in Dental Hygiene; a Master’s degree is a plus

- Valid dental hygiene license

Compensation:

- Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
