Position: Part-Time Dental Hygienist

Location: Houston, TX 77070

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist who is passionate about oral health and exceptional patient care. This part-time position offers the potential to transition to full-time if desired.

Duties:

- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care

- Take digital dental x-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records using Oryx cloud-based software

- Conduct patient assessments and charting

- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control

- Provide pediatric dental care as needed

- Proficiency in taking panoramic (Pano) and CBCT x-rays is required; iTero scanning can be taught

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental hygienist role preferred

- Knowledge of medical records management and terminology

- Ability to accurately assess patient vital signs

- Understanding of anatomy and oral health principles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $43.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 16 – 21 hours per week

Schedule:

- 8-hour shifts

- Day shift

- Weekends as needed
