Key Responsibilities:

- Perform clinical hygiene procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screenings, and X-rays

- Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and demonstrate effective methods

- Communicate with the dentist about potential restorative and periodontal needs

- Obtain and review patients' dental history and ensure health records are updated

Qualifications:

- Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license

- X-Ray/Radiology Certification (as required by state regulations)

- Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide Certification (as required by state regulations)

Working Environment & Physical Requirements:

This is a clinical setting with potential exposure to hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogens. The role involves prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and bending. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time  

Pay: Starting at $59.00 per hour  

Expected Hours: 35 – 40 per week
