Registered Dental Hygienist- Private Practice $50-60/Hour+

Shoreline Dental Chicago is a privately-owned, fee-for-service boutique dental practice in the heart of downtown Chicago. We’re dedicated to exceptional patient care and a warm, professional team culture. We’re hiring a Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team — part-time and full-time schedules are both available, and we’ll work with the right candidate on either.

Position: Part-Time or Full-Time, W2 employee

Compensation: $50–60/hour + Additional per patient compensation

Location: Downtown Chicago — Streeterville, walking distance to the Red Line, Brown Line, and multiple bus routes, just steps from Northwestern. Paid parking available in the building.

Who You Are
Licensed Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist with current CPR/BLS certification
Warm and personable chairside — patients leave your chair feeling cared for
Thorough with perio charting, radiographs, and documentation
Comfortable educating patients and supporting case acceptance for recommended treatment
A team player who helps keep recare and the hygiene schedule strong
Local anesthesia certification and experience with iTero scanning are a plus

What You Will Do
Provide prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
Take and review digital radiographs and intraoral scans
Complete perio charting and accurate clinical documentation
Educate patients on home care and the why behind their treatment plan
Support doctors during exams and hand off recommended treatment clearly
Help keep patients on schedule for their continuing care

Our Team and Technology

You’ll join a clinical team that includes general dentists, an in-house periodontist, and three fellow hygienists, supported by a dedicated front-desk team that keeps your schedule full. The office has 8 operatories with digital X-rays, iTero scanners, CBCT, and an in-house 3D printer.
