Registered Dental Hygienist- Fridays

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and delivering exceptional clinical experiences.

Registered Dental Hygienist (Fridays Only)

As a valued member of our practice, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services while helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. We pride ourselves on creating a collaborative, patient-focused environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, professionalism, and comfort.

Schedule: Fridays, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Appointment Length: 1-hour hygiene appointments
Location: In-person

Responsibilities

Perform preventive dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling, root planing, and polishing.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and recording vital signs when necessary.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive dental care.
Take diagnostic radiographs and assist with digital imaging and scanning procedures.
Apply preventive treatments, including fluoride and other topical agents as indicated.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and HIPAA-compliant patient records.
Adhere to all infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
Review patient documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure a positive patient experience by providing compassionate, attentive care and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

Current and valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Experience with Dentrix Ascend and iTero scanning is preferred.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques.
Familiarity with dental radiography, medical terminology, and patient assessment protocols.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and fostering a welcoming environment.
