Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric care
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, organizing materials, and ensuring equipment is fully operational
Take and process dental radiographs (including digital X-rays and 3D imaging) while maintaining patient safety and HIPAA compliance
Accurately manage patient records using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic
Record vital signs and review medical histories to ensure patient readiness and safety
Follow OSHA-compliant infection control protocols and maintain a clean, sterile clinical environment
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-procedure care
Coordinate with front office staff to support scheduling and maintain efficient patient flow
Safeguard patient information and ensure full HIPAA compliance
Support four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
Strong proficiency in chairside assisting, radiography, and dental imaging
Solid understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques
Experience with EMR systems (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic) for accurate documentation
Familiarity with dental coding and insurance processes is a plus
Ability to operate modern dental technology, including digital X-rays and 3D scanners
Experience or comfort working with pediatric patients
Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in both general and specialty dental settings

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
