
Registered Dental Assistant (Traveling Locations)
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. This role is essential in supporting our clinical team, delivering exceptional patient care, and ensuring efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of dental procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and treatment areas in advance.
Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain patient safety.
Perform dental imaging, including X-rays, in compliance with safety standards.
Manage patient records using Dentrix, including appointment scheduling and updating medical histories.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, addressing questions and concerns professionally.
Take and record vital signs as required during patient visits.
Coordinate with the front desk team to support smooth patient flow and assist with administrative duties as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices in dental assisting.
Qualifications & Experience
Prior experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
Knowledge of infection control, aseptic techniques, and medical coding is highly desirable.
Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Willingness to travel between practice locations.

Pay: $15.00–$21.00 per hour
