We are seeking an outgoing and motivated Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team and help create an efficient, welcoming environment for our patients. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering an excellent patient experience.

We are a family-oriented private practice offering a wide range of general dentistry services, including endodontics, implants, SureSmile orthodontics, and CEREC same-day crowns. Our office performs a high volume of CEREC procedures, so CEREC experience is highly preferred.

Schedule

We offer an alternate schedule with 9.5-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, giving you three-day weekends every week.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure
Prepare patients for treatments or exams while ensuring their comfort
Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures
Sterilize instruments and maintain compliance with safety regulations
Assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques
Complete dental lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment room
Accurately update and maintain patient records
Assist with managing and tracking dental supply inventory

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
Experience with CEREC, implants, endodontics, or orthodontics preferred
Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to perform permitted clinical duties such as coronal polishing is a plus
Strong computer skills
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
High school diploma required; dental assisting program completion preferred
Additional certifications such as EFDA are a plus

Experience

Dental assisting: 1 year preferred

X-Ray Certification (Required)
CPR Certification (Required)
RDA License (Preferred)
