Overview:

As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, with the primary goal of assisting the dentist in providing the best possible treatment for our patients. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and high-quality patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist in gaining patient commitment to optimal treatment with a sense of urgency.

- Actively contribute to the "Perfect Patient Experience" by focusing on patients' needs and helping them stay engaged in their treatment plans.

- Prepare treatment rooms, maintain a clean and sterile environment, and assist the dentist with procedures.

- Take x-rays and intra-oral photos as directed by the dentist.

- Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral health.

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with ADA guidelines.

- Ensure compliance with all State, Federal, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, and Dental Board regulations).

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Certifications, licenses, and registrations as required by the state (e.g., coronal polishing, radiograph exposure, etc.).

- Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
