Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

- Greet and welcome patients to the office

- Prepare patients for treatments or check-ups, ensuring their comfort

- Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures

- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment processes

- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols

- Assist dentists during various procedures, including prosthodontics and surgery

- Use 3D scanners and X-ray machines for diagnostics and treatment planning

- Perform lab tasks as directed

- Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

- Keep dental rooms clean and well-stocked

- Schedule patient appointments

Skills and Qualifications:

- Eagerness to learn office systems and software

- Proven experience as a dental assistant

- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques

- Understanding of health and safety regulations

- Ability to perform non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing is a plus

- Proficient computer skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

- High school diploma required; dental assistant school graduation preferred

- Additional certifications or training (e.g., EFDA) are advantageous

License/Certification:

- X-ray Certification

- RDA

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 24 – 40 per week
