Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Job Description
Our privately-owned and growing dental office is seeking a full-time, Spanish-speaking Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team immediately. We are committed to providing our patients with a positive experience, and we need a team player who can assist in both pediatric and adult treatments. Experience with Open Dental software is a plus!
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Assist doctor with strong chairside assistance, anticipating needs.
- Take, develop, and mount X-rays.
- Take impressions for dentures and dental appliances.
- Perform procedures in compliance with infection control policies and prepare operatories for patient treatment.
- Accurately and completely report and document patient status, care rendered, response to care, provider orders, and contacts with patients or other healthcare providers.
- Maintain patient follow-up procedures.
- Assist front desk staff when needed.
- Complete all direct and indirect care documentation in a timely manner, ensuring patient records are current and complete.
- Attend daily patient care huddles and periodic informational huddles, meetings, patient conferences, or planning sessions.
- Maintain all licensure and certification requirements for continuing education and best practices.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Current RDA certification.
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience in a fast-paced pediatric office.
- Experience with OpenDental software is a plus.
- Front office and/or treatment coordinating experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
- Expected Hours: 36 – 38 per week
- Benefits: Paid time off
- Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
