Registered Dental Assistant
Job Description
The Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting Dentists and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Patient Education: Effectively educate patients about dental services while building rapport and addressing their questions.
- Dental Assisting: Carry out daily dental assisting tasks, including preparing operatories, taking digital dental X-rays, capturing intraoral images, and obtaining impressions and bite registrations.
- Charting: Assist Dentists with patient charting and comprehensive treatment planning.
- Scheduling: Make a minimum of 20 outbound calls each day to patients to promote a healthy patient schedule.
- Inventory Management: Order and manage the inventory of dental supplies and instruments.
- Lab Coordination: Send, receive, and track laboratory cases efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Office team and fellow Dental Assistants to ensure smooth operations within the dental practice.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the dental field is required.
