REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT- POTRANCO SMILES

Position: Registered Dental Assistant  

Salary: $10 - $13 per hour (based on experience)

Reports To: Practice Manager, Regional Manager

Role Overview:  

As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), you will support the Dentist during treatments, exams, and patient discussions. This role involves performing general RDA duties in collaboration with team members. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining strong professional relationships and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:  

- Greet and prepare patients for exams, accurately completing digital charting and verifying codes.  

- Capture high-quality x-ray images.  

- Assist the dentist with various treatment procedures.  

- Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms.  

- Discuss treatment options and follow-up care with patients.  

- Perform teeth polishing and sealant placement (certifications required).  

- Help schedule patient treatment appointments as needed.  

- Sterilize instruments while adhering to cross-contamination standards.  

- Foster a positive patient environment through engagement before, during, and after visits.  

- Guide patients and parents through post-care instructions.  

- Assist patients with company-provided prizes and dismissal procedures.  

- Comply with HIPAA regulations.  

- Perform other duties as assigned.  

Basic Qualifications:  

- Valid Registered Dental Assistant license issued in Texas.  

- Preferred certifications in Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, and Coronal Polishing (company-sponsored courses available for candidates with 2+ years of experience).  

- Experience with digital x-rays is essential; digital charting experience is a plus.  

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
