We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in delivering outstanding patient care and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic.

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with our dentists during a wide range of procedures, maintain patient records, and help ensure a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment. A solid understanding of dental terminology and clinical procedures is key to success in this position.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of dental assisting experience (required)
Proficiency with Dentrix or other EMR systems
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control
Skilled in chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry
Competence in taking dental X-rays; experience with 3D scanners is a plus
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during general, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric procedures
Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
Maintain aseptic technique and follow strict infection control standards
Capture and develop dental X-rays in compliance with safety regulations
Accurately record patient histories and vital signs in Dentrix (or EMR system)
Support front desk operations when needed, including scheduling and confirming appointments
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain thorough and compliant patient documentation

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Hours: 25–32 hours per week
Pay: Up to $31.00 per hour, based on experience
