Personable & Experienced Dental Assistant

We are seeking an exceptional Floater Dental Assistant to join our Midtown Manhattan practice, conveniently located at 57th and Lexington. This is a Tuesday through Friday position.

We’re looking for a positive, professional, and reliable team player who is passionate about providing outstanding care to our amazing patients. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of chairside assisting experience in either general dentistry or a specialty practice.

Dental Assistant (Floater) – Midtown Manhattan | Tues–Fri Schedule

Key Responsibilities:

Provide chairside assistance to the dentist (preferably 4-handed)
Prepare operatories before and after procedures
Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
Chart accurately and efficiently
Take digital impressions using iTero scanner
Perform lab tasks as needed
Offer post-op and oral hygiene instructions
Ensure operatory rooms are clean, stocked, and organized
Greet and prepare patients with warmth and professionalism
Be willing to float to our other Manhattan or Brooklyn locations when necessary (teamwork is essential)

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience (general or specialty)
Proficient with dental instruments and sterilization protocols
Understanding of dental safety and health regulations
Strong communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with Mac systems
Experience with Curve Dental software is a plus, but not required
EFDA certification or additional training a plus
High school diploma required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: \$24.00 – \$28.00/hour (based on experience)
