Cameo Dental Specialists is a rapidly growing dental specialty group seeking a dedicated Periodontic Dental Assistant. In this role, you will provide an exceptional patient experience while assisting our dental specialists and maintaining strict infection control practices.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Preferred: 1 year of dental assistant experience, especially in specialty settings.

- Ability to contribute effectively in team settings and as an individual contributor.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

- Creative and strategic problem-solving abilities.

- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

- Document procedure notes and obtain necessary dental and medical histories.

- Take X-rays and CBCT scans.

- Provide chairside assistance for four-handed dentistry.

- Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and equipment.

- Instruct patients on postoperative care and general oral health.

- Conduct wellness calls to patients.

- Collaborate with front and back office teams to ensure the dentist's schedule runs smoothly and efficiently.

- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to protect patients and staff.

- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

- Assist with daily office cleaning tasks.

Job Type:

- Full-time

Pay:

- $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10-hour shifts

- 8-hour shifts

- Monday to Friday (no nights)

- Weekends as needed

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience:

- Dental assisting: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

- X-Ray Certification (preferred)

- Nitrous Oxide Certification (preferred)
