Pediatric Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a compassionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist to help us deliver exceptional care to families in South Austin and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate should be friendly, responsible, and skilled at connecting with our young patients and their parents through excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide dental hygiene care to our pediatric patients, ranging from infants to adolescents.

- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and dietary practices.

- Collaborate with a dedicated pediatric clinical team to ensure seamless patient intake, radiographs, and maintaining a clean environment.

- Sterilize instruments and manage inventory of dental supplies.

- Foster a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for both our dental hygienists and pediatric patients.

Position Details:

This role offers both full-time and part-time options, with convenient alternating 4-day work weeks (Mon-Thu & Tue-Fri). Enjoy a 4-day weekend twice a month! Our clinic hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no late evenings. Availability during school holidays when the office is open is required.

Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience working with children of all ages.

- Personable and comfortable interacting with patients and their families in a professional manner.

- Responsible and efficient to ensure a smooth schedule.

- Ability to work independently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

- Must hold a current RDH license.

- Proficient in digital charting (Eaglesoft preferred).

- Ability to take quality radiographs using digital sensors.

Our private, single-location pediatric and orthodontic dental practice is conveniently located for easy commutes from South Austin, Driftwood, Dripping Springs, Kyle, Buda, and San Marcos.
