Part Time Temp Dental Assistant Pediatrics/General Starting in June- First Week of Sept :)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric and General Dental Assistant to join our team in a boutique office in Murray Hill! In this role, you will work closely with our dentists to provide exceptional dental care to children and adults in a friendly and supportive environment. Your primary focus will be assisting various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Take patient medical histories and update records as necessary.
Educate patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment schedules and assist with the front desk as needed.
Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and welcoming for all patients.
Stay informed about pediatric dentistry practices, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge.

Requirements
Previous experience in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry IS REQUIRED.
Knowledge of CURVE software is a plus.
Strong understanding of dental terminology
Ability to take a FMS
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Commitment to providing compassionate care and ensuring patient comfort at all times.
Must work 1 Saturday per month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour
