Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team and contribute to excellent patient care and oral health education. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in performing patient screenings, cleaning teeth, and advising on preventative care. You will also assist dentists with treatment decisions and handle dental emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure patient comfort before and during examinations

- Conduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health history

- Identify and diagnose conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis

- Perform teeth cleanings, including plaque removal and fluoride application

- Educate patients of all ages on proper oral care, including effective brushing techniques

- Take and manage X-rays

- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charts

- Monitor and manage dental supplies

Required Skills:

- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role

- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)

- Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment

- Excellent communication skills with a patient and friendly demeanor

- Strong attention to detail

- Valid dental hygienist license

Position Details:

- Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

- Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with weekends as needed
