Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
Review patient medical histories and assess oral health conditions
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Identify signs of oral disease and communicate findings to the dentist
Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
Maintain accurate patient charting and clinical records
Follow infection control and sterilization standards
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to create a positive experience

Qualifications

Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Current state Dental Hygienist license
Active CPR certification
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of dental hygiene experience
