Part Time Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organization

- Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment areas

- Take digital dental X-rays as directed by the dentist

- Maintain accurate dental records and patient charts

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide post-operative care instructions

- Manage and order dental supplies and maintain inventory

- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

- Assist with front office tasks, including answering phones and scheduling appointments as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting program completion preferred but not required

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant

- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe environment

- Proficiency in dental software and computer skills

- CPR certification (preferred)

- Experience with Dentrix and iTero is a plus but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 16 – 24 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon and morning shifts

- Monday to Friday

- Weekends as needed
