Responsibilities:

- Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures, utilizing your knowledge of dental and orthodontic terminology.

- Operate the 3D iTero scanner for accurate imaging and assist in various orthodontic procedures.

- Maintain aseptic technique and handle orthodontic instruments safely.

- Use Ortho2 Edge software for patient charting and records management.

- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflows and quality patient care.

Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of chairside orthodontic assisting experience

- Proficient in dental/orthodontic terminology

- Familiar with 3D iTero scanner operation

- Knowledgeable about orthodontic procedures and basic anatomy

- Competent in X-ray procedures and dental imaging

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical record coding

- Ability to perform dental receptionist duties and understand four-handed dentistry techniques

- Interest in working with pediatric patients is a plus

Job Details:

- Job Type: Full-time

- Expected Hours: Up to 40 per week

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Pay: $18 - $25/hour, depending on experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
