Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

Requirements:
- Availability every other Sunday (excluding summers) with Fridays off.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up instruments, equipment, and materials for exams and surgeries.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment rooms in compliance with regulations.
- Assist the dentist using 4-handed dentistry techniques.
- Experience with dental implants is a plus.
- Perform lab tasks as directed.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene and pre/post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dental room.
- Take x-rays and 3D scans.
- Keep accurate patient records and manage inventory.
Skills:
- Proven experience in oral surgery and implant dentistry.
- Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization processes.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- High school diploma required; graduation from dental assistant school preferred.
- Additional certifications (e.g., EFDA) are a plus.
Position Details:
- Type: Part-time
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Schedule: Cyclical work schedule (Week 1: Sunday-Thursday full-time; Week 2: Off; Week 3: Sunday-Thursday full-time; Week 4: Off)
