Requirements:

Must hold a current radiation safety certificate for your practicing state
Certified as an RDA (CA, AZ, NV) in the state you apply
CPR and ACLS certification required; OMSA or DAANCE preferred
Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) preferred
Ability to travel and maintain open availability

Your Role Includes:

Assisting the Oral Surgeon chairside during patient treatments, anticipating their needs and preparing for the next steps
Following all OSHA, Dental Board, and Western Dental policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant environment
Maintaining accurate patient treatment records
Taking and developing dental x-rays as directed by the Oral Surgeon, while ensuring infection control protocols are followed
Measuring patient blood pressure when required
Providing pre- and post-operative instructions within the Oral Surgeon’s guidelines
Educating patients on oral hygiene practices
Preparing treatment rooms by turning on all necessary units, switches, and water before patient arrival
Restocking supplies in operatories, restrooms, and labs, and notifying the Floor Supervisor when reordering is needed
Reporting broken or malfunctioning equipment promptly
Performing sterilization duties as necessary
Building positive rapport with patients and team members, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment
