Position Overview:

Title: Lead Dental Assistant
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: \$29–\$31/hr (based on experience)
Location: Lincoln Square, Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities:

Manage back office systems and optimize clinical workflows
Mentor and guide a team of dental assistants
Oversee operatory setup and tray preparation to ensure efficiency and quality care
Monitor inventory levels and place timely supply orders
Assist chairside with a variety of general dentistry procedures (fillings, crowns, impressions, etc.)
Uphold OSHA standards and sterilization protocols
Partner with dentists and leadership to deliver 5-star patient experiences

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
Previous experience in a leadership or senior assistant role (strongly preferred)
Proficient in four-handed dentistry and digital workflows
Strong communication and organizational skills
Passion for team mentorship and a positive practice culture
Experience with Open Dental is a plus
