
General Dentist with Pediatric Focus!
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate General Dentist with pediatric experience to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You’ll work collaboratively with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to both children and families.
Salary: Up to $400,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of general dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, crowns, and preventive care, with a focus on providing age-appropriate treatments for children.
Diagnose, evaluate, and treat pediatric dental conditions, including early orthodontic concerns, space management, and common childhood oral health issues.
Ensure patient comfort through gentle care techniques, including sedation or anesthesia management when appropriate.
Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and long-term preventive practices.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments and progress while collaborating with specialists for complex cases.
Partner with treatment coordinators to ensure efficient scheduling, follow-ups, and clear patient communication.
Communicate effectively with referring dentists and healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, comprehensive pediatric care.
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program or proven experience in pediatric dental procedures.
Demonstrated experience in treating children and patients with special needs.
Proficiency in pediatric dental appliances, including space maintainers and early orthodontic devices.
Experience with digital imaging systems, including pediatric radiography and CBCT (if applicable).
