Duties
As our Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding care and supporting our dental team. Responsibilities include:
Assisting the dentist during procedures (e.g., exams, fillings, crowns)
Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms
Taking digital X-rays
Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Managing patient records and scheduling follow-ups
Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to dentistry.
Proficiency in Dentrix.
Strong understanding of infection control practices, sterilization procedures, and aseptic technique in a clinical setting.
Ability to operate dental equipment including 3D scanners, X-ray machines, and other medical imaging tools confidently.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pediatric patients and their families; experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of medical records and documentation compliance.
Certification in radiography or X-ray technology required; additional certifications in pediatric dentistry or endodontics are advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering outstanding patient care.
